Love Island’s Kaz Crossley slams trolls who accused Theo Campbell of ‘faking’ his blindness after his eyepatch ‘switched sides’
LOVE Island's Kaz Crossley has hit back at trolls who have accused boyfriend Theo Campbell of LYING about going blind in one eye.
Fans have taken to social media and accused him of faking the injury - because his patch appears to have mysteriously switched sides.
The reality star was taking part in a Q&A with fans on social media when the accusations occurred.
And the 25-year-old reality star made sure she had her boyfriend's back.
Replying to one viewer who accused Theo's eye patch of switching sides, Kaz hit back with her own comment and said they had "too much time" on their hands.
"His post the right eye was patched up, your post the left eye is patched up?" the person queried.
Kaz barked: "I dunno it must of mirrored on the front camera u lot saying this have way too much time. Haters will say it's fake[sic]."
The eyepatch may have appeared to have magically moved but this could be due to the reality stars using various apps which can reverse the image when in selfie mode.
The 25-year-old beauty has stayed with Theo in hospital since the freak accident happened.
The athlete was enjoying a holiday in Ibiza when a Champagne cork randomly hit him in the eye - splitting his eyeball in half.
According to the reality couple, he is now blind in one eye and currently unable to fly back to the UK as his stitches may burst due to the pressure.
Kaz has also been on the warpath against ex Josh Denzel who she has accused of ridiculing Theo's injuries.
Soon after the accident was announced, Josh went on social media and posted a mocking meme.
Although he argues it had nothing to do with the athlete's injury - Kaz begs to differ.
Former friends Josh and Theo have had beef ever since Theo, who appeared in the third series of Love Island in 2017, began dating Josh's ex Kaz Crossley earlier this year.
