Maura ‘flirts with Greg behind Curtis’ back’ just hours after his split with devastated Amber – as fellow Love Island stars slam her ‘disrespectful behaviour’

MAURA Higgins has been accused of 'flirting' with Love Island winner Greg O'Shea just hours after he broke up with Amber Gill - and behind Curtis Pritchard's back.

The pair appeared on RTE's The Late Late Show together and were supported by Maura's boyfriend Curtis.

However when the show ended, Curtis, 23, left to go to work where he was attending a personal appearance at a club - leaving Greg, 24, Maura, 28, and some pals to party at whiskey bar No 37 Dawson Street.

According to a source close to the reality stars, Maura's flirty behaviour towards Greg raised eyebrows, especially as Greg had only dumped Amber, 22, by text just hours before.

The news quickly spread back to their fellow Love Island stars who have branded their behaviour "disrespectful".

A source told The Sun Online: "No one was impressed after seeing Greg and Maura on Friday.

"Amber and Greg had only broken up a few hours ago, so everyone thought it was pretty distasteful and cruel of them - they were all over each other. Curtis came to support them on The Late Late Show and made a brief appearance but had to leave shortly after so he didn't see any of it.

"The girls aren't that surprised as it's nothing she didn't do in the villa but they are all saying Maura broke the girl code and has shown her true colours by partying with Greg.

"Poor Amber was sat at home in tears while Maura was out on the town with him - and all over him."

This isn't the first time Maura has come under fire for trying to crack on with the Love Island boys.

In the villa, viewers slammed her for coming onto Tommy Fury, 20 - even though he was coupled with 20-year-old Molly-Mae Hague.

Maura's ex-boyfriend of nine years, James Finnegan, branded her as 'fake' after seeing her behaviour on the show.

He told The Sun on Sunday: "The Maura you see on Love Island is not the Maura I know. For me, she is putting on an act.

"I haven't watched the scene where she was hitting on Tommy Fury but she never did anything like that to me. I'm not even sure he's her type."

Curtis and Maura still haven't confirmed their relationship and say they are not official.

When pressed on The Late Late Show that it sounds like the two of them are just friends, Maura quipped the pair are "friends with benefits".

Fans started to notice something was up when she posted about missing Greg on Instagram

She later reassured the audience they were more than that: "We are happy together, we haven't put a label on it, but we're going in the right direction."

Greg appeared on the same show to dispel rumours he dumped Amber by text after five weeks together.

He told the audience: "We're kind of just being realistic about the situation and protecting our careers and that's where we are at the moment."

However, Amber set the record straight on Loose Women today - saying that Greg did dump her by text, confirming the exclusive report by The Sun Online.

"There was a call a few days prior just chatting - not specifically to do with that. But definitely on that day it was like a text.

"We were texting each other but that's why I had to cancel."

The Sun Online has approached Maura and Curtis' reps for comment.
