Corona Sunsets Festival brings its epic beach party back to London

Just the ticket to get sand in your toes and raise a glass to summer in the city

THE nation’s favourite Mexican beer is bringing its bongos back to London’s Greenwich Peninsula following last year’s sold-out Corona SunSets Festival.

4,000 tonnes of golden sand will cover capital’s ground, just outside of the O2 Area, and juxtaposed with the iconic backdrop of Canary Warf makes for one seriously unique event on the UK’s festival calendar.

Confirmed so far for the sun-kissed session are Thomas Jack, Felix Jaehn, Vicetone, Jose Padilla and the Mambo Brothers with many more still to be announced.

But it’s not all about the top DJs, deep house and chilled tunes – beach games, artisan stalls, bodypainting and cocktail bars combine to make the vibe a fresh urban oasis.

London is just one of the global sweet spots where Corona brings its party to. Other SunSets locations which require a little more than just a travelcard to get to include Chile, Japan, Columbia, South Africa, Australia and, naturally, Mexico.

But don’t take it too easy just yet. All the early bird tickets have already flown out to festival fans in record time.

General release tickets are currently grabbable, for £35, from their or through the Dice mobile ticketing app. And it’s worth noting that this is a strictly 18+ event.

Corona SunSets Festival takes place July 29th at Greenwich Peninsula, London.
