Doctor Who’s Sacha Dhawan reveals The Master paved the way for ‘game-changing’ finale
DOCTOR Who star Sacha Dhawan has admitted that he had a hand in paving the way for the upcoming "game-changing" finale that may see the entire mythos of the show rewritten.
Dhawan joined Jodie Whittaker and the cast for this recent 12th season of the hit BBC One sci-fi drama and shocked fans when it emerged his character was actually The Master.
Now, the actor has revealed that he "found out" about the epic plot twist "a couple of months after filming the first two episodes".
"I knew that I was coming back but not to what extent," he shared, admitting that he spoke to show boss Chris Chibnall about the "evolving" script, which ended up with Chibnall placing many of Dhawan's "thoughts into it".
Speaking to I said to Jodie everything that you think you know is a lie. That is going to be... that question is going to be uncovered.
"As with Doctor Who, more answers lead to more questions. It is going to be a game-changer. It’s going to be something people haven’t seen before."

Doctor Who‘s season finale airs on BBC One on Sunday 1 March and will be available to stream on iPlayer.
Fans are hoping the episode will clear up many questions including who - or what - the Timeless Child is, and what it's power over the Master is.
The trailer for the finale teased a lot about the explosive upcoming episode, but one shot in particular sent fans wild as it appeared to be the same trig point that held the Tardis key in Whittaker's announcement trailer all the way back in 2017.
