THOUSANDS of hotel rooms at just £35 or less per night are up for grabs in a massive Christmas promotion.

The firm is encouraging people to abandon plans to visit European Xmas markets and instead head to one in cities such as Bath, Canterbury, Edinburgh, Manchester and Swansea.
A Travelodge spokesperson said: "Why waste hundreds of pounds on expensive flights to visit a European Christmas market this year when there are so many great traditional festive markets on your own doorstep?"
