Argos slashes Beauty and the Beast tea set price, sending bargain hunters into a frenzy
BARGAIN hunters are going wild after Argos slashed the price of its Beauty and the Beast tea set.
Savvy shoppers spotted the retailer was flogging the set for less than a tenner after it was shared on deals forum Latest Deals.
The pack of cups and saucers – based on the talking crockery in the Disney film – is on sale for just £9.99.
The set includes a teapot with removable lid, sugar bowl, two spoons, cups and saucers.
The product description says tea pot character Mrs Potts’ eyes blink when you pour the tea.
And Chip the damaged tea cup can wobble in his saucer, just like in the movie, Argos says.
The set was originally on sale for £24.99 – representing a whopping saving of around 60 per cent.

Sales of merchandise relating to the film have skyrocketed after it was released in UK cinemas in March this year.
Primark is rolling out a whole range of Beauty and the Beast memorabilia, including a duvet cover emblazoned with characters such as Lumiere and Cogsworth, a Chip cushion and a Mrs Potts-shaped money box.
