Neighbours spoilers – who killed Hamish Roche? Tyler prepares for murder trial, but who else is a suspect?
WITH the murder of Hamish Roche casting a dark cloud over Ramsay Street, viewers were rocked after Tyler confessed to killing his own father.
But was the Brennan brother really behind the shocking crime? Many people had a motive to murder Hamish - here’s the lowdown on which Erinsborough residents could have carried out the killing.
Tyler
Tyler discovered his father wasn't the kind man he thought he was.
In fact, Hamish was at the hospital with Louise on the night of Russell Brennan’s death, so it’s possible he had a hand in it.
Plus Aaron found out since visiting Paris that Hamish was planning to go on the run and was in a huge amount of debt.
When Hamish revealed he was only ever after the boat, Tyler was left hurt and angry - and revealed to his brothers that he had a fight with his dad on the night of his death, which got violent. Was it enough to finish him off?
Mark
Mark had been suspicious of Hamish since his arrival in Erinsborough, as he knew the man was up to something and drove a wedge between the Brennan brothers.
What’s more, Mark suspected Hamish filed a harassment claim against him and led Tyler to believe he was a violent man.
Could Mark have finally become sick of the manipulation and decided to force him out of the picture?
Sheila and Gary
Sheila discovered Hamish was two timing her, and was heartbroken after falling for his charms.
As she and her son both fell prey to unfaithful partners, what with Terese confessing she slept with Paul on their wedding day, could the two have teamed up on the night and killed him off in an act of violent revenge?
With Sheila horrified that Amy was taken in for questioning and Mishti discovering suspicious footage on the Lassiters CCTV reel, it’s possible the pair had a hand in Hamish’s death.
Amy
After being taken in to the police for questioning, all eyes were on Amy, despite her having the least motive to murder Hamish.
But as the night at the Gala was full of drama, anything could have happened behind the scenes.

Fay
Fay had felt guilty ever since revealing that Hamish was Tyler's father, not Russell.
If she found out that Hamish played a part in Russell's death, this would give her motive to protect her sons from an evil criminal - by doing away with him.
The Brennan brothers
Aaron was unnerved by David saying that whoever murdered Hamish had to have had a streak of violence in them.
After his increasing uneasiness upon his return from Paris, is it possible that Mark and David teamed up to stop Hamish from brainwashing Tyler for good?
