Romelu Lukaku celebrates after becoming Belgium's leading goal scorer

MANCHESTER UNITED host Newcastle in a Premier League fixture which is steeped in history.

But times have changed from when the Magpies were rivalling the Red Devils for the league title as Rafa Benitez's men will look to cause a shock at Old Trafford after getting promoted.

What are the best odds and tips for Manchester United vs Newcastle?

I hear Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are back in training this week and while I don’t expect either of them to feature here that news in itself will provide a morale boost for a United side that has been battling through in their absence.

The Red Devils have lost just one of their last 32 league games against the Magpies and I’m afraid this one is a forgone conclusion.

You feel the way Marcus Rashford is playing and the fact this seems a game that is set up for Romelu Lukaku to dominate it could end up a very one-sided affair.

Newcastle open up very easily and have rode their luck at times this season so the hosts’ pace and pressure could break them down.

Lukaku’s goals stats are taking a hammering at the moment but I don’t think it’s a major concern. In the first few games of the season he showed that if you give him the chances he’ll put them away. It’s the chances that have dried up, not his ability to stick the ball in the net.

I’d like to see him play through the middle and stay there this weekend. If he does that I can see him getting a hat-trick. I’m going to go with a 3-0 win for United at 9/1 and Lukaku as the man to get the ball rolling at a top price 12/5 with Sun Bets.

What is the team news?

UNITED remain optimistic that Phil Jones will feature despite him limping out of England's draw with Germany.

Marcos Rojo is returning to training, whilst Paul Pogba is in with a chance of featuring after a lengthy lay-off.

Jamaal Lascelles will be a game-time decision as he struggles with an ankle injury picked up against Bournemouth.
