Rebekah Vardy’s luxury item is pair of ‘Bridget Jones’ knickers as she’s terrified I’m A Celeb jungle bugs will crawl into her undies
REBEKAH Vardy’s luxury item for the I’m A Celeb jungle is a huge pair of Bridget Jones style knickers as she’s scared she will get ants – and far worse, in her pants.
Friends of the mum-of-four have revealed that she has shunned any other form of luxury items such as fancy soaps or comfy pillows for some XXL undies.
A pal told The Sun Online: “She has taken a pair of big knickers into the jungle to wear to bed at night because she is paranoid about creepy crawlies getting in to her knickers.”
However when she landed Down Under she shrugged away any fears, telling awaiting press: “I'm excited, it's gonna be great. Am I scared of anything? Not at all.”
Rebekah, 35, was the final celeb to arrive in Australia four days ago ahead of Sunday’s launch, but she almost missed her flight altogether after considering pulling out to stay with her children.
An insider told The Sun Online: “She's going in - but she nearly pulled out.
“She's really worried about leaving her kids behind and is really panicking about it.
“She was about to pull out because she can't bear the thought of being away from them for so long, however she has now arranged to fly them out too so that they are with her the minute she leaves the camp.”
Our source added: “Rebekah is going to be the last celeb to land in Australia because this has been such a last minute decision and she doesn’t want to be separated from her family any longer that necessary.”
Even en route to Oz, Rebekah, who is married to England footballer Jamie Vardy, hinted that she may drop out early when she sparked fears for her well-being after posting on Instagram that she was "feeling rough."
Covering her face with a mask filter, the brunette said: "Delays when you are feeling rough."
It prompted hundreds of well wishes from her fans.
One wrote: "Best get used to feeling rough when your in the jungle."
While others wished her a "safe flight," some even tipped her to win and said: "Good luck for I'm a celebrity your already a winner."
