Shoreham air show disaster pilot to find out whether he will be charged over deaths of 11 people
SHOREHAM air show disaster pilot Andy Hill will find out next week if he will face prosecution over the deaths of 11 people.
Police and CPS officials will meet with the families of the victims on Wednesday to discuss the case.
An announcement will then be made on whether Mr Hill, 53, will face charges of manslaughter and endangering life.
A source said: “It’s the first meeting of this kind and the families have been told a decision will be made either way.”
The meeting will take place at Sussex Police HQ in Lewes.
Cops have spent more than two years investigating the tragedy in 2015. A Hawker Hunter jet flown by Mr Hill crashed on to the A27 during a failed loop-the-loop stunt.
