AN amputee model, a touching tribute to Kate Spade and a large helping of cleavage from Nicki Manaj: it's New York Fashion Week day three!
As usual there's a host of wacky outfits for you to feast your eyes on, and two VERY glamorous parties where Bella Hadid and Rosie Huntington-Whitely stole the show...
Shows
Chromat
The American fashion label proved its dedication to empowering women of all shapes and sizes with the debut of model Mama Cax, who took to the runway wearing a prosthetic leg.
Chromat, which started up in 2010 and took inspiration from founder Becca McCharen-Tran's background in architecture, is renowned for its swim and athletic wear.
The 28-year-old, from New York, was diagnosed with bone and lung cancer at 14 and lost her right leg soon after with an amputation at the hip.
She said: "I probably waited a good three years before going to a swimming pool or even the beach, and that was mostly due to the fact that I was never comfortable in my body."
Also on the runway was breast-cancer survivor Ericka Hart, who unzipped her plunging swimsuit to show off her scars.
Kate Spade
This New York Fashion Week marks the first season since the industry lost fashion designer Kate Spade, who took her own life in June.
Spade designed clothes, shoes, and jewellery, but was best known for her accessory line - especially handbags, known for their bright and colourful patterns.
Celebs flocked to pay tribute at the catwalk show - the brand's first at NYFW - at the New York Public Library, where guests found notes on their seats reading: "She left a little sparkle everywhere she went.”
Priyanka Chopra, Suki Waterhouse, Elizabeth Olsen and Kate Bosworth were spotted on the front row.
In true Kate Spade fashion, the collection showcased pastel hues, retro florals and glittering sequins.
The Blonds
It was a case of save the wackiest until last with this "out-there" collection from luxury apparel brand The Blonds.
The New York-based fashion house is renowned for its bold, rebellious creations, and this collection did not disappoint.
Gem-encrusted bodysuits, mini dresses embellished in crystals and corsets adorned with spikes, sequins and chains were very much the order of the day, with a hint of regal gothic (who knew that was even a thing?).
Trends
Vibrant block colours and eye-catching prints dominated the street style in Manhattan yesterday.
From a bright green ensemble that could pass for nightwear to a turquoise full-length leather coat, here are some of the bolder looks that got us talking.
The glamorous after parties...
Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Christina Aguilera lead the the glamour at the star-studded Harper’s Bazaar party.
Bella certainly got the attention of the awaiting photographers in a semi-sheer bodysuit that left little to the imagination.
Meanwhile her best pal Kendall wore an unusual top which completely covered her hands, paired with matching flared trousers.
Meanwhile Gigi Hadid rocked an elegant black tulle dress and chunky lace-up black boots.
Sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton also made sure they weren't left out when it came to camera attention.
Last night saw Ralph Lauren celebrate its 50th anniversary show.
Many red carpet regulars showed their faces at the star-studded bash, held at a 19th-century fountain in Manhattan's Central Park.
Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Kanye West, Chance the Rapper, Robert De Niro, Pierce Brosnan and Jessica Chastain all turned up to celebrate, while Blake Lively and Anne Hathaway wore almost identical suits.
Rosie Huntington Whiteley stood out from the crowd in a stunning white gown that showed off her legs as she sat front row.
