FULHAM and England starlet Ryan Sessegnon heads a 10-strong shortlist for BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award.
The 18-year-old sensation helped the West London side win Premier League promotion last season and he broke in to the Three Lions under-21 team.
The left-sided talent won the Championship player of the season and young player of the season awards at the end of the last campaign and could add another individual accolade to his collection.
But, just like the talented teen has discovered in the top flight this season, competition is tough at the top and he’s already a veteran compared to some rivals.

The youngest-ever Commonwealth Games competitor will have to forgo any celebratory champagne at the star-studded event but can at least get a child’s fare on the tube home.
