Formula E: When is the Rome ePrix – TV times and race preview

All-electric series descends on Italy after six different winners from as many races this term

FORMULA E kicks off the European stage of the campaign in Rome after a highly competitive season so far.

Defending champion Jean-Eric Vergne won his first race of the season last time out in Sanya becoming the sixth different winner from as many races this term.

Vergne joins Brit Sam Bird, Antonio Felix Da Costa, Jerome D'Ambrosio, Lucas Di Grassi and Edoardo Mortara to have won a race this season as the title race hots up.

When is the GEOX Rome ePrix?

The GEOX Rome ePrix will take place on Saturday, April 13.

The race, which is just 45 minutes plus one lap, will start at 3pm, while qualifying begins at 10.45am in the UK.

Practice, qualifying and the race all take place on the same day.

Where is the circuit?

The race takes place in the heart of the Italian capital, in the business district of the city.

The track is 1.7 miles long, with 21 turns.

Every race is 45 minutes plus one lap.

You can tune into the race on BBC iPlayer and on demand from 2.30pm.
