Lauren Goodger slammed for recruiting girls to ‘sleazy’ £1k-a-week webcam job
ANGRY fans have said Lauren Goodger "should be ashamed" after the reality star tried to recruit girls for "sleazy" webcam jobs.
The former TOWIE star, 32, was branded "inappropriate" for posting an ad on her instagram page which offered girls "up to a £1000 a week" to get their kit off and perform sex acts on camera.
The advert for London Gems, which claims to be "the UK's number one webcam modelling agency", promises "full training" for any girls who sign up.
Lauren endorsed the company, writing next to the ad: "London Gems are recruiting webcam models. Start earning today. Start Immediately. Full Training Given.
"On Going Support. Work From Home. Free To Join. No Experience Necessary. Get Paid This Tuesday.
"Whatsapp Support Group. Our Webcam Models Are Taking Home up to £1000+ Every Week."
Lauren - who is currently filming Celebs Go Dating and was recently spotted getting close to a mystery man - went on to claim that it wasn't a sponsored post, adding: "#notAnAd #friends #unpaid."
Regardless, her fans were less than impressed at the reality star pushing such an adult business to her young, impressionable fans.
"I think you should be ashamed to put your name to this," vented one of her 765k followers.
Ranted another: "Seriously go and get a decent job and a little respect...instead of flogging this ****."
A third weighed in: "Supposed to be a role model to people especially the younger ages that look up to you and you're advertising sleezy [sic] like this? Should be ashamed."
Meanwhile another fan commented that Lauren had "officially gone off the rails".
Clearly feeling the heat, Lauren quickly removed the post from her instagram page but has yet to comment on the fallout.
Webcam work has been increasingly under the microscope of late following the tragic death of Hope Barden.
The 21 year-old died from asphyxia after performing a sex act online for her client Jerome Dangar.
Hope has been working in the adult film industry to bring in extra money alongside her day job as a carer for people with special needs.
