British playwright Vicki McKellar is convinced that following trysts with the late president Kennedy and his then Attorney General brother Bobby, Marilyn Monroe was murdered.
She claims that unlike the unhappy portrayal by Ana de Armas in Blonde, a new controversial film about Marilyn, friends reported that the actress was happy before she died.
Prior to her death the actress had been through a detox, won a Golden Globe and did her first photo shoot for Vogue magazine.
Although it was accepted that she died from swallowing a fatal amount of sleeping pills, the coroner found no pills in her stomach. Then, all of her organs went missing the next day.
Vicki also believes her affairs with President Kennedy and his brother meant she was told a lot of information and was therefore considered a security risk by the secret services.
Her friend Peter Lawford later said he knew of a ‘cover-up’, and was in Marilyn’s home with others during the hours between when she died and when she was pronounced dead.
Confusion continues over where specifically she died, as accounts differed at the time. Vicki is in talks with a West End producer looking to finance her ideas into a film.
