Holders German came second in the poll, on 18 per cent, with Brazil close behind on 13 per cent.
Spain were next, with ten per cent of the votes, followed by Belgium with nine per cent, and then England on seven per cent.
Only four per cent of fans believe Lionel Messi’s Argentina will win, and Cristiano Ronaldo and his Portuguese side attracted just three per cent of the votes, despite winning Euro 2016.
Italy managed just two per cent, while six per cent voted for other countries.
The results are at odds with the latest betting.
Sun Bets have Germany installed as favourites at 5/1, followed in order by France, Brazil, Spain and Argentina.
England are eighth favourites at 18/1.
