World Cup 2018: Portugal star Raphael Guerreiro shows off horror scratches after tussle with Morocco’s Nordin Amrabat
Watford winger gave young Portuguese defender a torrid time but it was Guerreiro who came off worse with five huge scratch marks on side of his stomach
PORTUGAL defender Raphael Guerreiro was in the wars during the first half the World Cup Group B game with Morocco.
The full-back clashed with Watford winger Nordin Amrabat who caused him problems all afternoon in Moscow.
And just before the break the pair were at it again when Guerreiro fouled the Watford forward, but the referee waved play on.
While the Borussia Dortmund star looked to be the culprit pulling on Amrabat’s shorts, cameras panned to the 24-year old as he showed off some horrific scratches on his lower abdomen.
Guerriero then remonstrated with the referee lifting up his shirt to show the five scratches on the right side of his stomach.
Cristiano Ronaldo yet again proved to be the difference as Portugal squeezed past the North Africans scoring the only goal of the game in the first half.

The Real Madrid star, 33, netted his fourth goal of the tournament and 85th for Portugal, making him Europe's all-time leading international marksman, breaking Ferenc Puskas' 62-year record.
Spain face Iran later in Kazan knowing a win will take them joint top of the group with their Iberian neighbours.
Meanwhile, Guerriero is reported to be on his way out of the Westfalenstadion this summer.
He joined the Bundesliga giants from Lorient in 2016 after an excellent Euro 2016.
But he has failed to make the impact Dortmund had hoped with reports of a lack of discipline off the pitch.
