World Cup 2018: Harry Maguire poses with mates after England thrash Panama – just like he did two years ago when he was a FAN
Centre-half recreated the group photo that was taken when he was out cheering on the Three Lions at Euro 2016 in France
HARRY MAGUIRE has posted a throwback to the time he was cheering on England as a FAN with his mates.
Incredibly, only two years ago the centre-half was out in France supporting on the Three Lions at the Euros.
Back then, a snap was taken of Maguire posing with his friends in their England gear before one of their games.
Now he is keeping the likes of Gary Cahill and Phil Jones out of the team, and has looked one of the most assured players out in Russia for Gareth Southgate's men.
Back in the summer of 2016, Maguire was playing for Hull City, with thoughts of representing his country a distant dream.
He managed to find the same group of friends today after he starred in England's 6-1 thrashing of Panama, and got another photo taken.
He captioned it: "2 years on... have a good trip lads."
England guaranteed progression from Group G with a game to play after thrashing minnows Panama 6-1.
John Stones netted twice from set-pieces, Kane scored twice from the penalty spot and Jesse Lingard curled in a beauty in one of the most comprehensive 45 minute displays seen for years.
Kane’s treble came after the break, before he was taken off for a breather after securing England’s BIGGEST win at a World Cup.
