But only two were pictured in Kazan as Joachim Low's side fell 2-0 to South Korea in the biggest shock of the Russia finals so far.

German newspaper Bild has noticed the difference to four years ago.

And they say the reason is because the "new Wags want to be more than just beautiful accessories".

They claim that many are pursuing their own interests during this World Cup.

And they will have far more time to after Germany were dumped out.

Kim Young-gwon's 92nd-minute goal, awarded after a VAR review, left the the holders on the brink.

Then goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was caught in possession deep in the opposition in the sixth minute of injury time.

The ball was punted up field and Son Heung-min raced clear to tap into the empty net to seal the win - and kick-start the German waterworks.
