England’s footballers lining up to spend £215,000 each on luxury motors when they return from World Cup
ENGLAND'S footballers are gearing up to reward themselves once they get back from the World Cup.
A number of Three Lions players have already been making arrangements for new motors while they are in Russia, according to a finance firm for luxury cars.
Magnitude Finance, who deal with some of the UK's biggest celebrities, are allegedly preparing deals for a number of the football stars and their partners for when the tournament finishes.
And according to the firm, players will fork out a whopping £215,000 on average for their summer ride.
The company lists 13 current England players among their celebrity clients - more than half of the squad preparing to take on Colombia next Tuesday.
And it's no surprise that Gareth Southgate's men are lining up some high-class models.
Finance quotes have already been put in for a new 2018 Range Rover, Bentley Continental GT, Mercedes Benz AMG G63, Audi R8 and Lamborghini’s all new Urus SUV.
But while most of the cars listed sit within the £110,000-£180,000 price range, the firm is also dealing with some larger contracts, including one for a special model from Italian supercar manufacturer Pagani, worth around £1.6million.
Head of Sales at , Tim Marlow, said: “From the proposals we’re putting together, it will be the largest amount of finance provided for our footballer clientele during a summer – irrespective of how England fair in Russia.
“Many of the England squad, their wives and girlfriends and Premiership-based players representing other nations are looking to buy new cars either to mark a good tournament or a treat at the end of the season.

“Since landing in Russia, there has been a significant increase in traffic from the region to our website which tells us they are busy looking at finance options for their next car purchase.
“Our online calculator lets them configure accurate quotes for the make and model of every luxury car that’s available.
“For example, one option we’ll create will have a large deposit – the highest we’ve taken was £250,000 on a Pagani valued at £1.6million – while others will look for an interest-only deal over a short-term of two years so they can change their car more regularly.”
