England to face Switzerland at Leicester’s King Power Stadium in September friendly
The international friendly will be held on Tuesday 11 September, 2018 (KO 8pm).
ENGLAND’S friendly against Switzerland in September will be played at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium.
The match will kick off at 20:00 BST on Tuesday 11 September.
Switzerland have only beaten England three times in 24 meetings, with five draws.
Leicester and England defender Harry Maguire said: “It will be a great atmosphere. All the home games at Leicester, it is great. The fans get right behind you. I am looking forward to it.”
This will be the second time the King Power Stadium has hosted the Three Lions, following a victory against Serbia and Montenegro in 2003.
Leicester City Chief Executive Susan Whelan said: “It is a great honour for us to welcome the FA and the England team to our home at King Power Stadium and to have the opportunity to bring international football back to Leicester.”
