Have England been preparing for penalties?

Southgate admitted that he has spent 22 years working out how to take the perfect penalty.

He said: "It's not about luck, it's about performing a skill under pressure.

"There are individual things you can work, we have studied it.

He has even psychologically profiled his potential penalty takers to make sure they are up for the task.
