Benjamin Pavard is in the running for goal of the tournament, and in Rachel Legrain-Trapani he’s definitely in with a shout for WAG of the tournament as well
NOW here's a French fancy we, er, fancy...
Rachel Legrain-Trapani caught our eye during France's 4-3 win over Argentina in the last 16 of Russia 2018, looking effortlessly elegant as she cheered on her beau Benjamin Pavard from the stands.
The Stuttgart defender was in inspired form that day, scoring one of the goals of the tournament, as Les Bleus advanced to the quarterfinals.
And after the game, Legrain-Trapani, 29, couldn't help but show her love for Didier Deschamps' star performer showering her man in kisses.
But who is the beauty that caught Pavard's eye?
Born in Saint-Saulve, Legrain-Trapani was raised in Northern France by her Italian parents.
In 2006, she graduated with a degree in literature, however at the same time her gorgeous looks were being recognised all over the country.
During the same year, she was elected Miss Country Girl of Ribemontois, Miss Aisne 2006 and Miss Picardie 2006 as a life competing in beauty pageants began.
But in 2007, aged just 18-years-old, she earned her greatest honour - when she was named Miss France during a glitzy ceremony in Paris.
Not only did she qualify for Miss Universe and Miss World because of her victory, the win opened up other doors for the then-teen.
The world of TV beckoned and she appeared on various reality TV shows in her homeland, including Fort Boyard, Secret Story and Top Chef, where she showed off her culinary skills.
Most recently, she appeared on the French version of Deal or no Deal.
The brunette beauty, a keen athlete herself, also began some high-profile relationships in her own country. And notably, she had a thing for sports stars.
From 2007-2009, Legrain-Trapani dated Ladji Doucouré, a world champion in the 110 meter hurdles and relay 4x100 meters.
Then, in 2013 she married former FC Nantes player Aurélien Capoue in a showbiz wedding at the Abbey of Saint-Florent-le-Vieil, move over Posh and Becks!
In 2016, the pair called time on their marriage and the beauty was back on the market again.
After initially keeping their relationship under wraps, Legrain-Trapani and Pavard went public with their romance in May 2018.
And despite being seven years his senior, love certainly knows no bounds for these two and you can bet the right back's missus will be back in the crowd for France's upcoming tussle with Uruguay.
What price for a ticket next to her?
