KATIE'S FINAL WORD

Katie Boulter would rather watch World Cup football than Wimbledon final

BRIT tennis star Katie Boulter will shun the Wimbledon men's final if England make it to the last round of the World Cup, she revealed.

Footie fan Katie, 21, said she would choose to cheer on the Three Lions if they make it to the World Cup final rather than watch the Wimbledon decider - which will fall on the same day.

Speaking about sporting clash Katie said: "I think I'll go [with] an England football match, yeah, unless Jo-Ko [Jo Konta] is in the final.

"I think it's a great chance [of England getting to the final].

"I'm looking forward to watching them. Hopefully they're going to do well."

Katie has been knocked out of the The Championships after she was defeated by Naomi Osaka from Japan.
