World Cup 2018: England team land in Moscow after Trent Alexander-Arnold does Jesse Lingard’s JLingz celebration
ENGLAND’S players have landed Moscow – and the good-natured banter between the squad is in full flow.
As the squad boarded their coach taking them to their date with destiny and Croatia in the semi-finals, Jesse Lingard and Trent Alexander-Arnold were in high spirits.
As the pair walked towards the vehicle, Alexander-Arnold stuck two fingers up behind his team-mate’s head in a typical, old-school prank.
Lingard then responded by impersonating Alexander-Arnold’s scouse accent as he shouted to the camera: “We’re off to the semis.”
The joking was far from over.
Alexander-Arnold grabbed his Manchester United rival around the neck before Lingard quickly scooted into the coach.
But Alexander-Arnold, who has missed out to Kieran Trippier on a regular starting XI slot, saved the best until last.
He turned towards the camera and acted out Lingard’s ‘JLingz’ goal celebration with his hands.
England’s stars appear incredibly relaxed ahead of their first World Cup semi-final for 28 years.
Earlier in the day during training, they were seen tossing around rubber chickens and testing each others’ reflexes out by hitting each other with the toys.
