Earlier in the evening the Wags looked delighted as Kieran Trippier put Gareth Southgate's men 1-0 up at the semi-final in Moscow.
But a second-half header from Ivan Perisic flattened England.
In extra-time, Mario Mandzukic scored to send Croatia into Sunday's final against France.
Before the game, Harry Maguire's girlfriend Fern Hawkins had posted her beau a good luck message on social media, with centre-back starting for the Three Lions once again.

Hawkins - who has been in a relationship with Maguire for seven years - wandered the streets of Moscow with her partner's name on the back of her England top.
She was joined by the Leicester defender's family who will all be praying England's fairy tale run continues.
Jamie Vardy's wife Rebekah was joined by a host of other WAGs ahead of the clash against Zlatko Dalic's side.
