World Cup 2018: Mario Balotelli taunts England fans who sent him ‘insults’ as Croatia book France final
Italian star Balotelli reacts to Three Lions defeat to Croatia by sending a message to the trolls he posted negative taunts to him on social media
MARIO BALOTELLI has taunted England fans who abused him earlier in the World Cup by mocking the Three Lions' exit.
Italy striker Balotelli has watched on from afar as the 32 countries battled it out at Russia 2018.
But the former Liverpool forward has had a dig at the Three Lions following the 2-1 extra-time defeat to Croatia which ended their World Cup dreams.
Balotelli, 27, posted a message on his Instagram account, which has since been deleted, which aimed a pot-shot at England supporters.
The picture showed the message: "It's coming home. Impossible."
And Balotelli added a caption: "I'm sorry because I love England but for those who sent me stupid messages and insults till now.. you deserve this answer now!"
