Chloe tweeted: “In a pub trying to watch the football (like the rest of the country) and a lad behind us goes “sorry girls we have people at the loo coming back that are very interested in the football so can you move”...EXCUSE ME?! #girlslovefootballtoo #sexistpig #itscominghome.”

And her England legend dad, 47, replied: “You should have replied, I’m surprised you could find your k***!!

"Now tell him to come and say it to your dad!”

Chloe thanked her old man for having her back before Twitters users hailed the proud father's response.

England Wags, friends and families console fallen Three Lions after Croatia come from behind to eliminate Gareth Southgate’s men in the World Cup semi-final

England got off to a flier last night as Kieran Trippier scored a stunning free-kick to fire his side into an early lead.

But Croatia came back into the game and Ivan Perisic volleyed home a second-half equaliser.

The Balkan outfit then took control in extra-time and England could find no answer to Mario Mandzukic's winner as Gareth Southgate's side were sent tumbling out.

At least the footie-loving gentlemen who asked Chloe to move have the third-place play-off to watch on Saturday before France take on Croatia in Sunday's final.
