World Cup 2018: Sergio Ramos enjoys summer holiday with stunning wife and family after Spain disaster show
Ramos skippered Spain as they crashed out in the round of 16 to hosts Russia in a penalty shootout
SERGIO RAMOS put the disappointment of Spain's World Cup exit behind him as he jetted off for a relaxing family holiday.
Spain's trip to Russia got off to the worst possible start before a ball was even kicked when boss Julen Lopetegui was sacked.
Hours before that axing, he had revealed he would be taking over as new manager of Real Madrid.
Spain legend Fernando Hierro was placed in charge for the World Cup, but could only watch on as they tumbled out to hosts Russia in the round of 16.
But Ramos, who will of course be working with Lopetegui next season, was in a good mood as he posed for photos on holiday with long-term partner Pilar Rubio and young sons Sergio Ramos Jnr and Marco.
They were pictured in shallow waters on an idyllic beach, but the location is now known.
The four of them also had photos taken on board a boat, captioned: "Family holidays: the best holidays ever. ¡Os quiero (I love you)! ILY!"
Ramos, who has been dating his wag since 2012 and also has another son with her, Alejandro, skippered Spain in their unsuccessful campaign this summer.
They actually topped Group B thanks to goals scored, but that involved two draws against Portugal and Morocco and a narrow win against minnows Iran.
But their dreams were dashed by the lowest-ranked team in the entire tournament, Russia, and Ramos and co were sent packing after a penalty shootout defeat.
