Kate Moss regains her title as UK’s highest paid model after 30 years in the industry – knocking Cara Delevingne off the top spot with £9m earnings in one year
ULTIMATE fashion icon Kate Moss has regained her status as the UK's highest paid model, after earning almost £9m in the past year.
The 44-year-old, who is said to have come third behind Cara Delevingne and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley last year, raked in over £8.8 million in 2017.
According to accounts filed last month, Kate Moss Ltd made £6,042,432, while the model's other businesses - Tully Church and Skate LLP - earned £1,854,940 and £486,556 respectively.
Kate's talent agency, Kate Moss Agency Ltd also raked in £458,341, earning the model a total of £8,842,269.
Model and actress Cara Delevingne is reported to have snapped up first place last year, with estimated earnings of £8 million.
According to lingerie brand Bluebella, Kate is believed to have come third behind Rosie Huntington-Whiteley whose estimated earnings stood at £5 million in 2016.
Last year, Bluebella's chief executive Emily Bendell explained:
"Kate still does not post on Instagram in a personal capacity, just through her agency.
"Kate undoubtedly was wise to maintain her mystique for years by declining to give interviews.
"But you ignore social media at your peril."
"Kate is still an absolute icon of the fashion industry and she will be in demand over the next decade but she will never rival Cara again in earning power," Emily continued.
Kate began modelling at just 14-years-old after being spotted by Storm Model Management founder, Sarah Doukas, in JFK airport in New York.
