TAMARA Ecclestone has compared breastfeeding criticism to body-shaming as Made In Chelsea's Binky Felstead has admitted she's too embarrassed to do it in public.

The Formula 1 heiress has weighed into the debate today by insisting mums should stick together and stop "shaming" each other.

Tamara made an appearance on Lorraine today to give her opinion after doctors called for schoolchildren to be taught about breastfeeding to encourage future new mums.

She was joined on the sofa by Binky Felstead, who revealed she has been too embarrassed to feed her baby daughter India in public as she is worried people will stare at her boobs.

Tamara admitted she has come under fire from other mums over parenting decisions and she wants the negativity to end.

She said: "Parenting is such a divisive thing...

"But the body-shaming - it's enough. You get so many other mother giving their opinions.

"Each mother is different and each baby is different."

Binky, who welcomed her daughter in June with co-star Josh JP Patterson, also opened up about her own breastfeeding fears.

"I've never had to get my boob out in public before... I get people staring and the odd look like: 'Put it away'.

"I get flustered trying to get the baby under the shawl - you just get people staring...

"If you get a boob out the attention is on the boob, not on what you're doing. I hope I man up, but it's still bothering me."

Tamara then turned to Binky and said: "It's a shame other people are ruining your journey."

She previously opened up about breastfeeding issues on This Morning this week as she made an appearance with her boyfriend and their baby

Binky said: "Breastfeeding in public was scary for me. I'd never done it before so that was really scary for me."

Revealing there was never any possibility of her allowing the birth to be filmed, Binky admitted she was worried about her new show Born in Chelsea because it is more "intimate" than her previous reality TV work.

She said: "I've done it for six years so it's normal for me, but it's obviously a lot more intimate now...

"With Made in Chelsea it was a big crew, it was so much easier."

The couple also revealed how they are planning baby number two.

She added: "I'm thinking two and a half years."
