CORONATION Street viewers are terrified little Jack is going to be evil Pat Phelan’s next victim.
Fans of the show were left on the edge of their seats tonight as the soap villan was on the verge of escaping.
Phelan has been brought back to Weatherfield against his will after being kidnapped by Gary and Joe and dragged out of his caravan hiding place.
He’s now being kept tied up on the Cobbles as the pair “want to make him suffer” before turning him over to the police.
However, at the end of tonight’s episode it looked like he was about to escape.
Little Jack wandered down into the cellar where Phelan was being held and the serial killer spun him a story about playing hide and seek.
It was a brazen attempted to get the youngster to untie him.
He said: “It’s like hide and seek… Well more like cops and robbers.
“I got myself caught Jack, that’s why I got myself all strapped up like this.”
But Jack was not so easily fooled, saying: “I know who you are Pat … and I don’t think it’s a game.”

Another added: “Jack Webster next on Phelan’s hit list? Bolshy child 👀😱 #corrie.”
A third commented: “stg Phelan better not hurt Jack #corrie.”
Spoilers this week revealed Michelle Connor is going to be left fighting for her life on her wedding day – after being shot by evil Phelan.
So fans of the show must wait until tomorrow night’s episode to see how Pat escapes from being held captive.
