LOVE Island viewers were delighted as they spotted the show’s iconic water bottles are back.
They were a big feature of the last series and fans were thrilled to see them return for 2018.
The show was back on TV tonight and fans tweeted their excitement during the launch episode.
There may be an all new cast of beauty queens and hunks, but fans they spotted a familiar sight from last series – the water bottles.
It wasn’t long before the audience at home spotted the bottles back on screen in tonight’s show and they flocked to Twitter to hail the return of the cult product.
One wrote: “I’m determined to get one of those #loveisland water bottles this year 😂🤔 @LoveIsland.”
Another added: “Say what you want about Love Island, but it’s fantastic at promoting reusable water bottles #LoveIsland.”
A third wrote: “I want one of those #LoveIsland water bottles.”
In 2017, the water bottles the contestants were always seen clutching sent viewers wild, with fans scrambling to order their own version and waiting up to two weeks to get their hands on them.
The 750ml bottle features a white plastic screw top, a finger loop, a drinking straw and a removable fruit infuser.
The plastic bottles feature each contestant’s name down the side in pink writing.
A spokesman for ITV2 told : “The water bottles will be available again.”
The water bottles will be available to buy from the show’s .
And the spokesman also confirmed the must-have item will cost the same as last year, £15 plus postage, bringing the total to around £20.
The bottles can be personalised with a name or any word up to 12 characters.
