THIS Morning's Doctor Ranj Singh has confirmed he's signed up to Strictly Come Dancing.
The TV medic revealed the rumours are true as spoke out about his new role for the first time on the show today.
During the programme, 2017 Strictly star Ruth Langsford was excited to reveal another one of the This Morning's presenters is joining the BBC series.
Doctor Ranj then told viewers he is thrilled to be taking to the dancefloor this autumn.
He revealed his was "shaking" as the announcement was finally made as he's been keeping his involvement secret since the spring.
Ranj also revealed his codename used by producers was "goat's cheese" and he was convinced he wasn't a frontrunner for the series.
The doctor said he thought fellow This Morning star Ryan Clark-Neal would have been BBC bosses' first choice.
The confirmation comes after weeks of speculation about whether Ranj would be included in this year's Strictly.
The 38-year-old medic will be judged by Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli when he shimmies onto the dance floor in the BBC One competition.
BBC bosses think he'll dazzle viewers and judges alike, with a source telling : "He’s a housewives’ favourite on ITV daytime so he’s sure to have big support when he takes to the dancefloor.”
Other stars doing this year's Strictly include Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts, Red Dwarf's Danny John Jules, and Steps singer Faye Tozer, who have all danced professionally in the past.
Other celebs rumoured to be sashaying their way into Strictly are The Chase star Mark Labbett, Union J singer Josh Cuthbert, former Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley and ex-England footie star Alex Scott.

As well as his work in medicine, Ranj has published two children's books and appeared on shows including Save Money: Good Health, and has become a children's presenter with the CBeebies series, Get Well Soon and also Bedtime Stories.
Dr Singh was previously married to a woman in his 20s but the pair divorced and soon after he began identifying as gay.
Admitting to Attitude magazine in 2015 that it was "something he was still working on", the star revealed he didn't feel comfortable coming out until later in his life.
